Component Inventory

Manage Component Inventory starting with the creation of components, managing component orders with preferred supplier, to tracking the raw materials movements via shipment right through to allocating components to the finished goods orders.

• Component Inventory is manage in the component applications and is displayed by Colour and by Warehouse

• There are multiple ways to add and make component inventory available:

  • Allocate inventory of the final shipped quantity directly from the Shipment application

  • Manually add Inventory from within the Component application

• Inventory status:

  • Available

    • Stock balance (Available - Assigned)

  • Outstanding

    • The component order is on its way but has not yet been delivered to the warehouse. The order quantity is associated with a Shipment with status In Progress.

    • Once the Shipment has been received into warehouse, it is marked as Completed and the quantity is no longer Outstanding but Available.

  • Assigned

    • Quantity that has been assigned to a Style Purchase Order
